Clinics
Horsemanship is the development of the horse and human friendship. Horses are very relational creatures by design. Deepen your friendship with your horse as well as grow your knowledge and skill.
Clinics offered:
Your host, Greta Cummings, brings her decades of experience as an equine professional, trainer and instructor to each clinic. Greta has successfully ridden and shown numerous disciplines; including but not limited to: Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Reining, Dressage, Hunter/Jumpers, Driving, and more.
All of our clinics are based on a Biblical view of the horse and built on the legacy of the horsemanship of Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and the like. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with your horse built on trust and mutual understanding. We do this through both classroom sessions as well as hands on work with the horse, beginning with groundwork and transferring it into the saddle for a successful ride.
Biblical Horsemanship

Role as stewards
-
Become better for your horse
We are His house, built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Christ Jesus being the chief Cornerstone. Ephesians 2:20
Learn how to build your horsemanship on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets and work with the horse as God, the creator or Heaven and Earth, designed us to do so. Many years ago Greta Cummings went on a year long journey seeking out the horse through out the scriptures and it changed her view of the horse and horsemanship. Begin your own journey to be the best steward you can be for your horse. Our days will be filled with Bible Study and horse work and fellowship.
Your Horse Is Speaking,
-
How horses communicate
-
Understand equine communication
-
How to respond
-
Ride smart with clear communication
Horses by design are non-verbal communicators. Can you understand what your horse is communicating to you? Every movement, obvious and subtle, a horse makes is intentional and has a meaning behind it. Every stomp of the hoof, every blink of the eye holds meaning. Most accidents with horses can be avoided by simply understanding what the horse is communicating before the accident happens. Safe riding is smart riding.
Learning to understand what your horse is saying will deepen your bond and connection with your horse. Becoming attuned to your horse will help them to feel safe with your leadership and make them a better riding partner.
