2006 Grade Quarter Horse Gelding

Bay Roan - 15.1 hands

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, no nonsense type horse, look no farther. Sox came off of a ranch in Nebraska. He is not selling with papers, he was either never registered or the papers have been lost. The original ranch he came from raised Doc Bar horses, so he is likely from those lines. The family acquired him as a trail horse, but not all the kids are interested in riding and he is not their first pick to ride as he is so laid back and they want something that will move out easily. He sells at no fault of his own, they want to see him being used and appreciated.

Sox is quiet and gentle, and has way more whoa than go. Would be suitable for a beginner. He rides in the arena and on the trails. He is much more comfortable on the trails. He stands tied, ground ties, leads, loads, clips, stands for the farrier, and the vet. He is selling as sound, and is up to date on his vaccinations, teeth float, and hoof care. A short time after coming to the farm we took him to a cattle sorting clinic just to see how he would act. He is not afraid of cattle at all, but does not have the get up and go to get them sorted.

This guy has it all. He's a looker, well seasoned, and quiet. This guy is the youth safe, husband or wife safe, grandma safe packer everyone is hoping to find. Enjoy your trail riding season this year!
